has several meanings to us.

We are on the “Left” coast of America.  But, if,like me, you sometimes get stuff upside down and backward,
we could be the “right” coast, until I realize the map’s upside down.

This isn't a political page (except for the stuff that may creep into my Blog posts)

The site isn't trying to prove of disprove the theory (held by the rest of the world, I think) that California is
just
"La La Land".

Anyway, left, right, whatever, we’re in California.

Also, as a soon-to-be official Senior Citizen (I still throw out the AARP letters immediately upon receipt), I
feel as I’ve been “Left to Coast” through the rest of life.  No more climbing the corporate ladder, no more
aspiring to great new heights.  Keeping one's mind active it important, I believe, so this endeavor may
actually be my new "corporate ladder".

I am (still) a practicing Architect.  I do, however, have many other interests.  Most of my professional life has
been involved with large-scale projects, so I have answered the simpler desires by doing most of my own
construction on home remodels and repairs, and the like.  I think I have built a rather large knowledge base
from which to approach many other, but related, design interest.  (Remind me to tell you a joke about
Architects)

As you will see, I have a photographic interest, an interest in wood turning projects, a graphic penchant for
cartooning, and other, yet to be revealed, “pursuits”

I hope you find some enjoyment on this site.  I also hope you will buy some stuff (401k's aren't what they
used to be!).  And, if you have any suggestions as to what else you would like to see here, please let me
know.  I am considering:

  • an "Advice" section, where people can ask me about stuff that I may know and that I can answer in
words. (Architecture related, home design/repair, etc.)  I think this would be free.
  • Custom wood turning orders, send me a sketch and I'll let you know if I think I can do it.
  • Certain content or colors in photographs to match your spaces.

Oh!, and buy the way, if you don't see anything you want to buy, but you have received valuable
entertainment, a
donation is always welcome.

                                           Thank You,
?
