I have a lot of fun, creating sawdust. That's the most plentiful by-product of any turning project. I wish I had a way of
recycling all that stuff....I've been thinking of making my own particle board...not really.
I usually have a target in mind when I start working a piece of wood, but pretty often, the wood leads me somewhere
else. Wood, of course, being a natural product, has characteristics that dictate where to cut and where not to.
Most of these pieces are "one-off's" . Some things I can (and will) repeat, sort of....they are never identical. The
"Salt Box" and "Tulip Candle Holders" are examples of repeats. Most everything else is unique.
performance.
UON (a common term in the Architectural profession, meaning "Unless Otherwise Noted") all pieces are wax finished. I
use pure Carnuba wax. Occasional re-waxing will keep it looking its best. Some pieces look better with age. I
particularly like the patina our own Salt Box has achieved.
Each piece in "branded" with the Artist logo (things like the Candle Holders can't be, there is no appropriate surface)

that people don't need to have but that he -
for some reason - thinks it would be a good
